Veterinary product ALAVIS™ TRIPLE BLEND is intended for recovery of locomotive apparatus, in particular for preventive administration to foals and horses under working and sporting load.
The product contains combination of chondro-protective substances – glucosamine sulphate and chondroitin sulphate and MSM (methylsulphonylmethan) which are beneficial for strengthening of ligaments and tendons, suppressing of inflammation and pain and recovery and relaxation of muscles.
Glucosamine sulphate and chondroitin sulphate belong to the groups of so-called glycosaminoglycans (GAG) and it is a natural part of joint cartilage and synovial liquid. Mode of action of both substances is common and lies in chondro-protective (cartilage-protecting) effect. Their effect includes recovery of joint cartilage and tissues and improvement of mobility, and they thus have positive influence on animal health status. Chondroitin sulphate has significant efficiency in binding water in tissues. It thus ensures correct function of cartilage, its strength, flexibility and resistance.
Methylsulfonylmethan – MSM – is a natural substance which contains organic-bound sulphur which is implicated in the process of collagen formation, strengthens ligaments and tendons, have relaxation and recovery effect on muscles. MSM not only helps alleviate joint pain but also, due to its antioxidative and detoxication effects, degradation of damaged joint tissue. It is also advantageous to use MSM in posttraumatic and post-surgery statuses, in which better healing of wounds was also demonstrated. MSM had analgesic, anti-inflammatory, vasodilatative and anti-oedematous effect. It is also applicable for alleviation from muscle pain, muscle spasms and tendon pain.

By reason of maintaining the product quality no colourants or preservatives are added.

Administration
Powder is administered daily, according to recommended dosage in seed fodder, molasses or directly to the horse mouth.
Dosing Duration:
Optimally, apply the product for three months, then pause for 1 – 3 months and then resume administration.
